Hello! I'm Chloe Ta, a Computer Engineering graduate from UC Santa Barbara.

I’m a Master’s student in Computer and Information Science at Columbia University, focused on building AI systems that turn data into real-world impact.My experience lies in NLP and machine learning, where I’ve worked on embedding-based systems and semantic modeling. I’m particularly interested in generative AI, including LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic pipelines.I’m passionate about bridging the gap between machine learning models and real-world applications, especially in building intelligent, production-ready systems.

I started out in economics, drawn to the idea of prediction. But pretty quickly, I realized I cared more about building real, tangible things—a thread that’s been with me since I was a kid. Along the way, I found that I naturally gravitated toward teaching and mentoring, which eventually pulled me into leadership roles. When Web3 started to take shape, the potential felt obvious. But I’ve always approached new tech looking for user needs first. With Nftychat, the question was simple: would people want to make one-click purchases right in chat? Then Namestone came from seeing a demand for subdomains. We’re serious about scaling identity in Web3, whether for people, algorithms, or anything else. Nftychat taught me a lot about product viability and how venture funding really works, and that experience helped shape Namestone’s focus on infrastructure for identity. Now I’m working on an M.S. in Interactive Intelligence to sharpen my AI thinking and ground it in practical human use cases. My focus has always stayed the same: find real problems, and build simple, useful solutions.
