Until recently I was a strategist at Goldman Sachs. Previously, I was a post-doc researcher with the information theory and application center (ITA) at the University of California - San Diego (UCSD). Over the last few years, my research has been primarily in the area of Information and Communication Theory, and its interplay with decision and stochastic control theories. Recent projects involve finding the fundamental limits of search and group testing problems with measurement dependent noise as well as optimal estimation and filtering under unknown data injection attacks. My PhD research focused on fundamental limits and algorithms for various models of multi-user real-time (or limited delay) data compression problems.
