I am a Machine Learning Researcher at Protege, where I lead research on spatial and physical intelligence within DataLab. My work focuses on developing AI systems that understand, reason about, and interact with the physical world, spanning world models, vision-language-action models (VLAs), vision-language models (VLMs), multimodal learning, and reinforcement learning. Previously, I architected custom neural network architectures and production AI systems for wildfire detection and monitoring at AlertWest, and built cloud-scale machine learning solutions on AWS at Metal Toad. My research interests include embodied AI, physical intelligence, multimodal reasoning, reinforcement learning, explainable AI, and human-robot interaction.
