Designed and developed a full-stack FMEA (Failure Modes & Effects Analysis) web application used to assess risk across 7,000+ applications deployed to OpenShift, AWS, and mainframe environments company-wide. Developed Node.js REST APIs on AWS Lambda to manage FMEA data — including failure modes, severity/occurrence/detection ratings, and risk priority number (RPN) calculations — backed by a PostgreSQL database supporting 7,000+ tracked applications. Designed and implemented a normalized PostgreSQL schema to support complex FMEA relationships (failure modes, causes, effects, mitigations), ensuring accurate risk scoring and historical audit tracking across teams. Leveraged Metabase open-source BI platform to design reusable data models and automated recurring reports, improving visibility into the many deployable assets across the enterprise Enhanced the FMEA Manager with embedded Dynatrace links, connecting risk assessment data to live application health and performance monitoring, streamlining the path from risk identification to root-cause investigation.
