Working to make the Volkswagen Automotive Cloud (VWAC) platform the most impactful and definitive connected vehicle platform in the world. How can we make this platform easy to use, where a developer only has to know Restful APIs and not proprietary information to integrate with the VWAC platform? Where a developer can use any integration service she/he is comfortable with, whether it be Azure, AWS, GCP, to interact with vehicles using the VWAC platform. I help to make sure the MQTT connection transports data (commands) to the vehicle, transports data (telemetry) from the vehicle, and advise clients on what to do with that data (for example, using a workbench to store it for visualization/analyzation). Ultimately, however, my work consists of venturing into new territory: designing novel use cases and proving them out.
