Since childhood computer engineering has been my passion. I still remember those days when I used to open the Pentium CPU to dust it and wondering how it even worked. By making small repairs, I gained a general knowledge of hardware and software. Due to this self-taught knowledge, I became known as a computer expert in high school. Later, my passion led me to a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering. During my first semester of college, I lost my father and I had to be the breadwinner for my family. I started handling my father's manufacturing business. While I was living my worst nightmare, I kept my dream of earning a degree in computers alive. It was difficult being the boss of employees who had experience in a field longer than I had been alive. At the same time, my childhood dream to become an engineer required the same level of attention and dedication. I ended up learning in-depth about computer architecture and various programming languages from both the front and back end. I had a special interest in JAVA and Python. By the time I graduated, I learned much more than just about computers. I learned that honesty, strong communication skills, a goal-oriented mindset, and a great sense of humor are the keys to survival. After that, I started working as a software developer for more than a year and eventually working as a business developer. Side by side my mom (Wonder Woman), started taking care of our business. This gave me the freedom to loosen my grip from the business so I could start pursuing a master’s degree in computer engineering science from Sonoma State University. At SSU, I got to be exposed to technology like Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Embedded Systems. Internet of things aligns well with my background including knowledge of business needs and knowledge of programming.
