Senior Data Scientist at TikTok | Recommender Systems | Graph Algorithms | User Modeling I'm a passionate and impact-driven data scientist with a Ph.D. in Statistics and a strong track record in large-scale machine learning systems, user interest modeling, and recommender algorithms. Currently, I work at TikTok's headquarters in San Jose as a Senior Data Scientist in the Product Data Science Research team, where I focus on building global interest clustering systems and advancing graph-based recommendation frameworks. Previously, I led research and development in recommendation and AIGC systems at Tencent, and my academic journey spans from Renmin University of China to Texas A&M University, where I received dual PhDs. My work bridges theory and application—ranging from designing scalable algorithms to publishing in journals such as Technometrics and submitting to JASA . I enjoy tackling high-dimensional, noisy data challenges and driving innovation through research-backed engineering. I hold an invention patent related to personalized modeling.
