About michael

My passion is learning and implementing machine learning models using NLP and Linguistics. It is even more exciting when I get to apply what I learn to real-world problems, I have worked on Chatbots, language data analysis, and error analysis for Kasisto inc. as an intern, as well as FSM, and language modeling for my university professors. My strengths include my theoretical knowledge of linguistic structures that I take advantage of with my understanding of Java, Python, Bash, SQL, Git, and Excel in a Linux environment. I worked as a Dialogue Designer which, required me to fill multiple roles that require specific knowledge of a department in order to succeed and I am always up for the challenge of learning. I currently work as a NLP Engineer for 90North where I build, test, and deploy NLP machine learning models and have gained invaluable experience from my work here. What I really love about my job is that I get to lead, train and work with a team to accomplish goals, which is very rewarding. Both my education and my current job represent who I am and where I want to go in the future working alongside motivated individuals on big language data problems that can make a big impact on the world.
